During Brad Lamoureux's Bachelor Degree in Architecture he studied housing and furniture design at the University of Copenhagen. After graduating, he spent another three and a half years gaining architectural experience with Robert Stern and various offices in New York City. During his Master's degree in Architecture at Harvard University, he worked for Arthur Erickson in Toronto as a team member on the winning competition entry for the Markham Municipal Building. After moving to Vancouver and operating a joint practice for six years, Brad Lamoureux became the sole principal of Lamoureux Architect Incorporated which has since been designing architecture from an office in West Vancouver. He has exhibited mixed-media artwork in Vancouver, Richmond and Toronto.
Over the years, Lamoureux Architect has become one of the most sought after architects in Vancouver and has completed over fifty custom residences locally and internationally and has grown substantially over the years to include eight full-time designers. Brad is personally involved with each project throughout its development in addition to other project architects.
