Project Size: 10,500 sq ft.
Project Completion: 2003

Situated on a one-acre property at the University Endowment Lands in Vancouver, this residence was designed to take advantage of panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, North Shore Mountains and a rear garden landscape. The home is conceived as a contemporary villa with its attendant parterre gardens, evident in front approach garden and the rear garden which is terraced to include pools, waterfalls and a recreation court. The home was designed for a family seeking a balance between privacy and a life of entertaining. The spaciousness of the property, combined with a fully developed landscape plan, ensures that ultimate privacy is created. The architecture and landscape combine to create a home where spaces flow easily from inside to out. The house also captures natural light in all its principal spaces through expansive glass doors, windows and skylights.
